We have been planning for several weeks to meet the Robisons up in Idaho to visit Mama and Papa Merkley. We have been pretty dang excited!
And thennnn, Mama Merkley decided it was a good idea to get strep throat. Just kidding, she was not happy, haha. But we all knew it was best to not bring up 2 babies and 2 little kids with germs floating around the house.
We were really bummed.
BUT THEN THE ROBISONS DECIDED TO COME OUT TO SALT LAKE AND STAY WITH US AND WE WERE SO HAPPY!!!
(PS. You know I take a ton of pictures. Well, Amanda does too. So there are billions of pictures amongst the two of us from just this weekend. It's awesome).
They got here late Friday night, and after all the kiddies were in bed, we stayed up until 3:30am talking. You guys, my body is too old to do that! But it was so fun. But the morning and crying babies came wayyyy too early.
BUT LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!
These babies are just over a month apart. I hope they are ready to have eleven zillion pictures taken of them together over the course of their lives.
We ate and played around all morning. We are all really good at laying around in our pajamas.
Then we got ready to head out!
We went to Sconecutter to grab lunch, and took it to Sugarhouse Park. The weather was so nice! There was some frisbee and soccer playing and some attempts at cousin pictures. Then we went to the playground.
We went back home to let the babies nap, and hung out until we decided what we would do for dinner.
Sadie suddenly became very fascinated by Jonas, and couldn't stop staring at him or making really weird faces. It was my favorite thing.
We headed into the canyon for dinner and went to Ruth's Diner. It was such a pretty night to eat outside! And the food was the bomb. Sadie also tried her first lemon. It wasn't a huge hit.

I didn't bring a jacket for Sadie, so she wore Clark's. And it was amazing. |
We had ice cream and watched SNL and DID NOT stay up until 3am.
Sunday we played hooky from church and relaxed, played outside, and ate some roast and potatoes.
Then we had to say goodbye. Which is always sad. But we are so glad they came out to play!! We love you Robisons!
