Yes this was another sleepless month. Your sleep just kept getting worse. You were basically waking up every hour and a half and would only settle back down if I nursed you. Then you got in the habit of waking up at 6am and would only fall back asleep if you were in the bed with me. Your naps have suffered and you don't take a long one unless you're sleeping on me. I promise not all your monthly updates will start with talk about sleep. You know.. when you start sleeping.
Other than sleep, you really are just a sweet baby. You seem to be outgrowing your colic, and have a lot less episodes. You do the cutest, crinkly-nose smiles and I can't stand it! It makes me want to eat your face. You really love Sadie, and are noticing her more and more. Just watching her makes you happy. She holds your hand when you cry in the car and it's my favorite thing ever. You are so cuddly, especially with me, and literally want to sleep with my face on your face. (Hence you wanting to sleep in my bed.) You give me big, fat, open-mouth wet kisses. They are especially wet because you are a friggin DROOL MONSTER. You will soak through several shirts a day.
Like I've always said, you're a strong little dude, and you are already trying to sit. You haven't mastered it yet, but you're trying! You can move around a little when you're on your tummy too. You really want to keep up with your big sister. You love toys, and she loves to bring them to you. You are still a big fan of your pacifier, and Sadie loves to give it to you, but she also loves to steal it, haha. You have learned how to take it out, but you can't get it back in and it makes you pretty mad.
You have the roundest head. It's impressive, haha. You still have your slightly flat spot, but it seems to be rounding out. You still like to talk, and you've started yell-talking. You really like to be loud. Every morning your daddy gets up with you, and you hang out with him while he gets ready for work. The extra sleep for me is awesome, and I know daddy loves to be with you. You are so sweet and chill for him, and then the second I walk out you start crying, haha. You are a bit of a mama's boy. I don't mind though.
You had your first Halloween! We had a giraffe costume you hated, and a monkey one you wore when we actually went out. You were pretty unfazed by everything, and fell asleep in my arms while we trick-or-treated. You enjoyed being out at the Robisons though! Your cousin Clark loves you and helped me take care of you. You were a big fan of him.
You are sooooo ticklish! I love it. You give us so many smiles and laughs. You love to watch us and be part of everything we are doing. You always have to face out in the baby carrier because you are interested in everything that's happening around you. We always say you just don't want to be a baby, haha. You are ready to be on the move already. You are in mostly 6 month clothing. Long and skinny! And so handsome!
You got your first cold, and then got another little tiny one. Those we all thanks to your big sister. You were happy and sweet through them though. You just didn't like having a stuffy nose. And you wanted extra cuddles, which is fine with me. You are such a sweet and tender-hearted little guy. We are all three just obsessed with you!
