This happened back before Halloween, but I am finally remembering to blog about it now. Way back at the beginning of the year, my in-laws took in some foster kids and fell in love with them. They decided to adopt them! They were siblings, a girl and a boy. The girl was 7 and the boy barely 2. I am happy to say that after several long months, they are officially adopted and part of the family! We have gotten to spend a lot of time with them, and they are the sweetest kids. Their names are Thomas and Sophia. It's really nice to finally be able to post pictures and actually talk about them. In October, we got to go up to watch them be sealed to my in-laws, and then blessed. It was a great trip!
We had a good trip up, stopping at a rest stop that had a whole little Halloween town. We got there and the Robisons got there soon after. I love seeing all the cousins together.

sadie the next morning. She thinks it's so funny when we sleep in the same room |
We hung out that morning, then the babysitter came, and we went to the sealing. It was beautiful and so special. I am so glad we got to go.
We went home, enjoyed the awesome weather, and had a bbq! It was a great day.

You can see in this picture that I have my camera out, but I have no idea where my pictures and videos are! I am really good at losing pictures. |
Amanda made this amazing family tree out of cake and cupcakes!! It was delicious, but I must say that I think Jonas enjoyed it the most.
After the babies went to bed, Shawn, Nathan, Amanda, Brad and I escaped to Burger Den for milkshakes. You guys. I LOVE BURGER DEN. I can't go to Caldwell without eating there.
Sunday morning was the blessing! It was very sweet. We all hung out for a couple hours after that, before it was time to go home. Dad got to open his birthday presents from us and we hung out with Heather for a bit.

It was so sad to leave! But we decided to not end the party yet and met up with the Robisons at Cracker Barrel for lunch. It was a good decision.
