November listy update

+ Sadie loves to be on our laps 24/7. We don't mind it too much.

+ One day when I was sick, Katie came and took Sadie out for the afternoon. They had such a fun adventure!!! Sadie loves her aunt Katie. And when they came home, Sadie was so excited to see me I almost melted. Haha

+ Christmas movies, Christmas pj's, Christmas lights. We don't waste any time.

+ One of my YW took this and sent it to me and it makes me laugh so hard. We are all standing up for the theme and she is amazed.

+ We got snow!!!! This was Sadie's first real snow. The last time it snowed in Utah. she was 3 months old. We got no snow after that! Sadie was amazed, but she really liked it. She kept picking it up and just holding it in her fists though. She needs some gloves, haha.

+ Rare moments of peace and quiet, provided by Barney

+ We love lunch dates with daddy!

+ I wish you could see her face better in this. We let her pick out her own apple (she's obsessed with apples) and she was so excited! She was screaming all the way to the check out.

+ Peppermint chocolate chip shales are back at Chickfila!!!! Aren't I so pretty?

+ It was randomly 60 degrees one Saturday so we got out to the park one last time.

+ She loves to put stuff on Lady. Lady is so patient. Sometimes.

+ This is to show you Sadie's obsession with apples. She eats them down to the core. She would probably eat the core if I didn't take them away.

 +My sister-in-law, Ewa, had to have really intense back surgery a couple weeks ago. We made a sign for Sadie to hold to take a picture to send to Ewa and Sadie was a freaking stinker. We took over 100 pictures and finally got 1 where you could read the sign.

+ This picture did not turn out, hahaha. Every Saturday, Nathan gets up with Sadie. They play and he feeds her and then they wake me up with fresh bagels!! I love this tradition. 

+ Last, but not least, JENNA CAME TO TOWN!!! Jenna is my best friend from childhood. We have been friends since we were 8. We moved out to college together and lives together several times. We have basically been through everything together, and a year a ago they moved to Texas :( It's the longest we have ever gone without seeing each other, and I am SO GLAD they came to visit!!! We took the kids to play and out to lunch. Then it was nap times before Jenna and I went out to dinner and movie all by our onesies. It was such a fun day. We drove around after the movie talking and listening to music. That girl knows all my secrets, and no matter how long it's been, it's like we've never been apart. NOW MOVE BACK TO UTAH PLEASE!!!!!

Sadie at 14 months

+ She LOVES books. She will sit and "read" them all day long and I absolutely love it.

+Shakes her head no, and nods her head yes, and thinks it's hilarious. She will usually start shaking her head when she is about to do something she knows she shouldn't. it's a nice little warning.

+ Loves Christmas lights.

+ Tries to unwrap the Christmas presents.

+ I say it every month, but this girl loves animals SO MUCH! There are two dogs and two cats at my in-laws, and she was in heaven all Thanksgiving.

+ Nathan can definitely make her laugh harder than anyone else, but she always chooses me when she's sad and I love that, haha.

+ There's been a couple Sundays now where she sneaks out of Nathan's classroom after church and goes into the bishop's office. I have found her there, just talking with some of the men in the ward. I think it's so cute.

+ Still Barney obsessed. NO other show will hold her attention!! Freaking dinosaur.

+Likes to push our trash cans around the kitchen floor.

+ Sooo dramatic. Tantrums happen pretty much anytime she's told no, but they only last a few seconds. She is VERY good at pouting, and has mastered the dramatic fall-to-the-ground when upset.

+ She loves to Facetime people, and will sometimes bring me my phone and stare at the screen waiting for someone to appear. 

+ Love the Gerber baby cookies, and will dig them out of my diaper bag and bring the bag to me so she can have some.

+ Working on using a spoon. She loves to do it, but usually doesn't get much actual food on the spoon.

+ Loves praying, it's so funny. We started teaching her to fold her arms for bedtime prayer and now she folds her arms all the time and won't stop until I say a prayer. It's kinda my favorite.

+ Don't start to think she's holy though, because she's a nightmare in church. Church is from 11-2, and her nap time is from 11:30-2. So you can imagine that it's no picnic. We are really looking forward to church moving to 9 in a few weeks.

+ She doesn't like it if Nathan starts homework before she goes to bed. She will go over to the computer and literally spin him around in the chair and cry to be up on his lap. 

+ She's starting to figure out coloring, although she's eaten a lot of crayons on her way to figuring this out.

+ Loves to sing "itsy bitsy spider" and "patty cake."

+ Not too much has changed from last month, but I just feel like she is getting so much older and more independent. She keeps me busy, but gosh she's so awesome!!!
