Weekending

Oh look! Our weekend told through 90 pictures! Wahoo!

We have a professional evaluation done on us each year at work. Here are my scores. Everything fell in the "Highly Effective" range and my VP told me these were the highest scores he has ever seen a 2nd year teacher get. I love what I do :)

To celebrate my scores, we went out to Del Taco on Friday. But we were too lazy to go all the way in and too hungry to wait to eat until we got home. So we sat and ate in the parking lot. Ohhhh I love Del Taco. Guys.. I love it so much!

After Del we wanted to enjoy the rainy, fall weather and we went on a drive. We ended up at the same lookout Nathan took me on our 2 month anniversary. Almost 4 years ago!! Craaazzy.

Saturday we were super restless. We wanted to get out of the house but had no idea what to do. We decided to drive out to the Salt Flats just for fun. But instead of stopping.. we just kepy driving. Further and further west. We went out completely past the mountains to the west of us, and then past a second mountain range. It was so much fun just to drive and talk and listen to music and see places in Utah we didn't even know existed. There were some cute towns and tons and tons of open space. We ended up wrapping back up around the mountains and found ourselves on the other side of Provo Lake. It was a fun adventure!

When we made it back to Salt Lake, neither of us wanted to go home yet so we decided to walk around Liberty Park. We want to enjoy the cool weather before cool becomes freezing and we are cooped up forever.

Today consists of church, tacos, and being a little lazy. Also, peppermint hot-chocolate. Nathan says it's wrong because it's a winter drink and we are very much in the middle of Fall. But it tastes pretty perfect to me!
