Sadie at 16 months

+ She lays down on her tummy on the floor and crosses her legs while looks at books or playing with toys and it's the cutest thing ever.

Eating a rice cake on her car up against the front door. She drove there backwards and told me "bye bye!"

+ She always wants to always be near us. She loves to sit up on the couch and watch TV right in-between us.

Pushing her sippy cup around. She loves her stroller!

+ Spins around in circles when you ask her to and it's so cute.

+ Her attitude and tantrums have gotten quite advanced. Her grumpy face is intense.

+ She loves to play on our bed for some reason. She runs in and yells "up!" and then she loves to jump and fall over. 

+ She loves to slap people's tummies, and her own. When I try to tell her there's a baby in my tummy, she just slaps it.

+ She tries so hard to play with the cat. We give her dangle toys but she gets too excited nd just smacks Lady with them.

+ She plays much better by herself now, but it doesn't always last long.

+ Still Barney obsessed.

+ Her favorite toys are balls.

+ She waves different now. She flicks wrist instead of the "hand crunch."

+ She points to objects and pretends to count them. 

+ She looooooves playing catch. But she's really bad at it. 

+ We didn't do much of anything exciting this month. One, it's winter. And two, I was soooo sick almost all of January. It was not a fun time. Sadie has been so good about it.

+ She danes anytime there's music- commercials included.

+ She loves reading and takes books and sits in her rocking chair. It's my favorite thing. 

+ She knows where her tongue, feet, hair, ears, and hands are

+ She always wants to be outside. Too bad it's freezing. 

+ She can go up and down stairs very well. She learned last month at grandma's house.

+ She often sticks her fingers in ears and up her nose.

forgot to turn the flash off when I was trying to take a picture of her sleeping... haha poor girl

+ She wakes up so happy! She would happily sit in her crib all morning just talking to herself if I didn't go in there.

+ She's obsessed with my hair. She plays with it, rubs face in it, eats it.. she's weird.

+ She holds our hands now.

+ She had little hand motions for "all done" and and "amen" and "hot." It's not baby sign. Just hand motions I always do when I say those things and she just kinda picked up, haha. She also holds up a finger to her mouth and says, "Shhh!" But she never actually is quiet, haha.

+ She gives real kisses, not open-mouth sucking ones.

+ She brings me boo boos to kiss and I think it's so cute!!!
