more things we have been doing

We do more around here than just take pictures of our baby, ya know. Sometimes we take her out into public and take pictures of her.

We went to see the lights at temple square! It was crazy busy but still so pretty. And Sadie got to wear her snowsuit which basically made my life. For that reason, you get 900 pictures of her in it.

It wasn't too cold which was lovely. I forgot our real camera so all the pictures suck, hah.
Saide munching on her snowsuit.

AND THEN, just a few days later, I went to the lights with my young women! Not too many girls could come, but it was still so fun. I really, really love my calling.

One of the other leaders works on the top floor of a building down-town and took us up for this awesome view.

Last week I got to take Sadie to my old school to meet a few coworkers! I have been holding off until she was a bit older since middle schoolers carry so many germs. I didn't get pictures of her with everyone because I kept forgetting, but I got a few! It was so fun to be back and to see them. I hadn't see them since September when I was still a large pregnant woman. I miss them and teaching a lot. But it was wonderful to see them with Sadie. She loved being held so much!! She especially loved Kimese and Bustin. Bustin had her talking and smiling so much, and anytime she fussed, Kimese grabbed and and she immediately stopped. I love my work family. If you need a refresher on why they are so awesome, you can go here. Hah. They have been with me through my first pregnancy, Madelyn's death, the long wait to get pregnant again, and now they finally get to meet Sadie!

We headed to my Nana and Papa's house for dinner on Sunday. We won't get to be there for the big Sunday dinner, so she threw a little one for us. I have the best Nana I swear. My aunt Kristen and cousins Maddie and Kourtney got to be there which is awesome because they hadn't met Sadie yet. Maddie and Kourtney took Sadie after dinner and watched her for a couple hours while Nathan and I got to talk with my grandparents and aunt. It was wonderful!!! Sadie didn't fuss once and eventually fell asleep in Maddie's arms.
I've told Kourtney this story a million times, but she was the first baby I ever really held and the first baby to ever fall asleep on me. I remember walking around the house feeling so cool because this tiny baby was napping on me. Now she's a freshman in college and holding my baby. So weird!
