things we've been doing

Big, random list of pictures and things we've been doing over the past couple months, just for documentation's sake.

Nathan and I both spend every Tuesday night at mutual. My YW are obsessed with Sadie. I love it, and, despite Sadie's face, she loves being held and played with all night.

 I went to an awesome party with awesome friends celebrating our friend, Melece (left), visiting from Hawaii. Sadie cried almost the whole night. She was getting sick and I didn't know it yet. Poor girl. She cracks me up in this picture though.

One of my awesome YW and one of Nathan's awesome YM went to a dance together and their parents couldn't come take pictures, so they asked us to. We like them.

Katie comes over and we watch the bachelor and eat too many brownies and she makes shark hoodies.

We play outside every chance we get.

We spend all Saturday cleaning and organizing! I really love this picture. It's all my favorite people. And cats.

Lady still sits and stares under the fridge and waits for the mouse to come back. I don't have the heart to tell her it's never coming back.

Sadie has learned how to throw tantrums. And throw them she does!

A sweet friend of mine told me she had some baby girl clothes she wanted to get rid of. Then she brings me all this! It was awesome! Like I did a huge shopping trip for free!

I found out that they just opened a Swigs in Draper a couple months ago. Sadie and I made a trip there immediately. I texted Jessica this picture to rub it in her face.

Sadie loves dirty Diet Coke. JUSTKIDDING.

Nathan built Lady a little cage that leads from our window to our yard so she can have some outside time without running away. (We will eventually have grass instead of that nasty dirt, haha).

She loves grabbing people's nose and lips. This is a regular occurrence when she is nursing.

I came home from AZ to a completely washed and detailed car. It's gorgeous! Nathan also finally replaced all the hubcaps, after two of them fell of years ago, haha. It looks like a new car! My dad would be proud.

We take quick trips to Target to pick up string cheese and probiotics. You know, just normal stuff.

I found one of my favorite childhood books on Amazon! 

Sadie is now in love with her zipadee zip. Is it not the cutest thing ever? It helps her sleep like a champ.

Lady has started a war with a neighbor cat. The cat comes by and taunts Lady. It's awesome.

Sadie and I go on a walk every morning. One morning she started to fall asleep, but we were almost home so I didn't want her to ruin her nap. I didn't have any toys, but there were some wrappers in the cupholder. I handed them to her. She just stared back and forth between them for the rest of the walk. It was awesome.

Lady is still super cute. No, we haven't forgotten about her! She had a rough while after we brought home a new human and moved twice. But she is finally calming down and adjusting. 

Nathan gave Sadie a taste of his apple. She wasn't a fan.

 Sadie started really snuggling her blankets. It's so cute!

I let her watch TV for the first time. She was MESMERIZED.

Lady and I always have special one-on-one time when Sadie takes her morning nap. I put Sadie down, sit on the couch, and Lady jumps up.

We like to take more walks when daddy comes home at night. But Sadie mostly just licks her straps. 

So there's a wee iphone update! We are really loving this time in our lives.
