After church today, we wanted to get out of the house. It's been raining all weekend, so we knew it wasn't the day to be walking around. We decided if we were gonna be cold, we wanted to be really cold. We got our coats on, snuggled Sadie into one of her last winter outfits I have that isn't in storage, packed a lunch, and headed up Little Cottonwood Canyon.
We stopped at the top at Silver Lake. We ate our lunch in the Car and let Sadie drive.
Her little snow outfit might be my favorite thing ever. But whatever she wears is my favorite thing ever, sooooo..
We headed out to the lake and we were the only ones there. It was completely covered in snow and it was so beautiful! We walked around for a little, until it was too cold, then drove back down the mountain. It was such a pretty drive! We got to take it nice and slow since there was so one on the mountain. The river was rushing and the trees were covered in snow. I love being able to see snow, but go home to my house where it's completely clear.
