Month 10

I don't even know where to begin this post. I feel like we have been all over the place- everywhere except home. And she's been growing so much. We are having so much fun this summer!

She is 100% off the boobie now, and doing great! She loves bottles! She is a super distracted eater, and it will usually take an hour and several attempts to get it all down her, unless she's tired. She loves baby food, and loves big-people food too. She will eat anything you give her. Anything. And she loves it all! Tonight she downed half a tomato and a giant dill pickle. She's got a sweet tooth and loves little bites of out desserts. She also loves french fries. Like.. obsessed.

She never sits still. It's why her photoshoot is a little different this month. I think it represents her very well! She is a mover! She wants to explore everything and be a part of everything. She is so observant. She soaks everything in. She also gets into evvverrryything. The most amazing thing she loves to do, is find out sticky-spider traps. She gets her hands stuck on them. And sometimes there are dead spiders on them and that makes me want to barf.

She says mama and dada non-stop and she has really figured out what they mean. She says "mama" a lot when she cries and wants me. She says "dada" whenever he comes home. She also says "baba." I told you, she loves bottles. She also says "wassthaat" and it's so cute. She has no idea what it means, but we are always saying it and she a big copy cat. She knows where people's noses are and will point when you ask. I don't think she knows she has a nose though.

Speaking of cat, she is more obsessed than ever before. She meows (makes a high-pitched noise) and clicks at her (what we do to call her) and follows here everywhere. She is usually pretty gentle and we have been teaching her "soft," but she gets aggressive when she gets excited. Lady has become very patient, and we haven't had a single bite or scratch in months. She is really starting to like Sadie now. Which is good because Sadie is obsessed.

She loves bath time and started crawling to bath tub when you ask "do you want to take a bath?" She loves singing and dancing. She loves crawling over things- it makes her feel cool. She loves funny noises. She loves other little kids, and often yells at them when we see them in public. She loves empty soda cups. She loves reading books. She LOVES animals. She freaks out anytime she sees them. We have taken her to the farm by out house several times and she has a blast.

She is pulling herself up on everything possible. She walks along while holding things, but no real steps yet. She is very adventurous when it comes to walking and climbing, which has resulted in tons of head bumps. I swear she is always bumping and bonking her head, haha. No read goose eggs or even bruises yet. She crawls lightning fast, and we can't leave her unattended for a second. She will be in the spider traps or the recycling bin or the cat food or the phone charger in our bedroom. No idea why she loves those things so much. She remembers where everything is and finds what she wants very fast. We can't hide things from her anymore, because she is smart enough and looks for things.

She isn't interested in TV much at all. She is too much on the move. She likes Daniel Tiger the most, but it only holds her attention for a few minutes. And then she wants to go play. She has a big toy bin and she loves to go over and pick out her town toys. She loves stuffed animals and gives them lots of hugs and kisses. She still makes lots of funny sounds and high-pitches screams.

She is still sleeping like a champ! Thirteen hours at night, two naps during the day. She is really flexible though. We can do one nap a day when we're busy, and she just adjusts. It's awesome. She is a very chill and go with the flow baby. She is hyper and always active, but so low-maintenance. She has traveled more than I ever thought we would at such a young age, and she has been so good!! Our summer has been crazy, and she has never showed it. She loves being around new people! She is verrrrryyy serious around strangers at first, but once she warms up, she loves you! And she LOVES getting attention.

She has become quite the mama's girl, and I am the only one who can calm her down when she is sad. Like I said before, she definitely has stranger danger. She slings to Nathan and I around new people, and she gets shy and buries herself into our chests. She will sometimes cry when people hold her, but usually she just stares at them. She does better if she can't see me. If I am in sight, she just cries and reaches for me.

I feel like I am leaving a million things out, but it's just been a spacey month. We leave town again on Tuesday, so it will be an even spacier couple weeks! Life is so fun with Miss Sadie. She is so sweet and silly. She's just perfect.
