September thingys

Since we are over halfway through October, I should probably post about September..

I'll be honest that we didn't do too much this month. Sadie was potty training starting after our trip to Bear Lake, so we did a lot of laying around the house and cleaning up pee.

+ We got out and tried to enjoy the last few weeks of sunshine!

+ We spent Labor day getting our favorite donuts, playing at our favorite park, then driving through the mountains while the babies slept.

+ We visited my old work so everyone could meet Jack! Bustin is still the baby whisperer.

+ I took a million pictures of these two together. I love them. And they love each other.
This picture makes me laugh so hard. They are both weirdos

+ And a round of pictures of them looking not so happy

+ My Aunt Allison and a few of my cousins visited!

+ Sadie has been such a rockstar this past little while. She's crazy and hyper, but she helps out and listens and is just so fun!!
We took a date to Target one night

+ Jack facetimed Uncle Shawn and fell asleep

+ Ladycat is normal Ladycat. Grumpy and obsessed with me.

+ Sadie has turned into SUCH a daddy's girl. She gets so excited when he comes home and is immediately asking to play with him. She also asks me to call him on the phone a lot. Jack has been a pretty big mama's boy, but Nathan makes him laugh the most. Jack is learning to be able to fall asleep with Nathan now too, instead of just me. He's just kinda a booie guy.
Lady likes her daddy too

+ Potty training was hard. Really glad to be on the other side. But at the end of the day I would sometimes look like this, hahaha.
One day after an especially hard day, Nathan took the kids and sent me out on my own. I ended up at Target, of course.
Buying stuff for my kids, haha.
+ We visited Nathan at work for lunch, and Sadie made a ton of weird faces

+ Sadie had her 2-year checkup! She looks awesome and really loved when the doctor shined her light in her eyes.

+We got out to the yard during potty training to keep from going too crazy. Sadie is a fan of chalk.

+ I like to brag, but Sadie is a genius. She said, "Mama I draw a circle!" And then drew this. She's amazing.

+ On nights when the kids are crazy, and we want to actually have a conversation, we load the babies in the car, get Swig, and drive around. I am so thankful both our kids love car rides.

+ Did I mention we laid around a lot this month?
I edited this for your viewing pleasure

+ One morning I opened the blinds in my kitchen, and found a GIANT BLACK WIDOW!!!!! JUST HANGING THERE!!!! SHOWING OFF HER BIG OLD RED BELLY. I was terrified. But since it wasn't moving, I just assumed it was dead. Hours later, it was gone. And it's dead body wasn't in the window well. And I wanted to cry. Maybe I did. But never fear because the next morning, IT WAS BACK AND JUST HANGING THERE AGAIN!!!! It was murdered dead with a pipe. Then each window well was soaked in bug spray. And so were me and all the children. Just kidding..

+ It was a crazy month, but I am feeling so blessed to have these 3 in my life.
