Halloween

Halloween this year was so perfect!! We kept up our tradition of spending it in Lovelock with the Robisons. They live in a tiiiiiny town and everyone goes all out for Halloween and I love it! I am talking king sized candy bars, guys. FOR THE PARENTS!

Nathan took work off so we could stay through Tuesday. He also got off early on Friday so we got there just after dinner.
Saturday morning we nice and lazy. We watched TV while the kids played, visited the bunnies, and made muffins.

For lunch we decided to pick up sandwiches, and go out to a ghost town! It was so cool. No one else was there. We ate, and explored the area. So creepy and awesome. A perfect Halloween activity.

We took a short drive over to find some wild donkeys. Jack fell asleep on the bumpy road.

Then we came home for some dog watching and light saber fights. Sadie loved Scout so much. Whenever Scout was outside, she'd stand at the window and yell for her. She was also just in Heaven with her cousins. I loved watching her and Jonas bond, and she loved playing With Clark and Kalvin! This night, Clark was growling and chasing Jonas and Sadie back and forth across the house forever. It was so sweet.

The next day was Sunday! Jacky boy and I ditched church in order to get sleep because he wasn't a fan of sleeping that night, haha. We relaxed that day and Brad and Amanda made us a delicious Thanksgiving dinner!!! It's our favorite Halloween tradition.
Jack was a popular guy
We slept for 2 straight hours while everyone was at church. It was amazing.
Helping Aunt Amanda make dinner
They definitely thought they were playing the video games hahah
Sadie had a hard time waking up from her nap, and she wanted Uncle Brad. She was kinda obsessed with Brad. It was so cute. She also called him "Brown" and asked where he was whenever she couldn't find him.
Sweet Clarky is the little baby whisperer! He helped out so much with Jack. He is the best. And maybe I sometimes get a little emotional when I think about meeting Clark for the first time and taking care of him as a baby and now he's almost 8 and taking care of my babies, haha.
Amanda got them matching jammies and everyone died of cuteness!!!!!! Sadie still calls her's her "Jonas jammies."

The next day was Halloween!!! I was so excited, haha. We relaxed and ate McDonald's and geared up for a night full of candy and magic.

That afternoon, my inlaws and their younger kids drove out to come trick-or-treating with us.
Are you starting to see that Sadie likes the boys? Haha.
Then it was COSTUME TIME!!!!!!!! Sadie picked out her kangaroom costume and talked about it for weeks. We had a cute giraffe costume for Jack, but it was too cold for him to really wear it. So we took some pictures in it, haha. He didn't like his costume.
Okay seriously, how cool are Kalvin and Clark costumes?! Everyone kept stopping us to say how awesome they were. And it seriously looked like someone was grabbing Clark from behind. It kept freaking me out, hahaha.
Jack's second costume was actually a snowsuit that happened to look like a monkey, haha.
Zoo animals
Literally can't handle them. The cutest freaking 2-year-olds in the world!!!!!! LOOK AT JONAS' NOSE!!

Trick-or-treating was so much fun!! Sadie had a blast! She ran everywhere and yelled, "trick or treat" and got some excited every time she got candy. And I love their little town. So many decked out houses!

By the time we got home, Jacky had fallen asleep. It was kinda the cutest. The kids dumped out their candy and started shoving it into their mouths. We had dinner and Grandpa made his famous dry ice root beer!
Sadie fell asleep to Uncle "Brown" rubbing her back.

The next day we hung around until lunch, then said our goodbyes. I hate leave the Robisons. It just doesn't make sense why we don't all live together in a big house! This trip was defintely one of my favorites ever.
Watching cartoons before the boys left for school
I love how Jonas is so sweet and not shy! He runs to you can snuggles with you and hugs you. I want some Jonas hugs right now.
