As I was going through them for the 12,034th time today, I realized how much I love the candid shots. I have always loved candid pictures. I love how the capture the real emotion of the moment. Anyone can smile and pose for a picture, but I love the ability to capture little moments of raw emotion. Here are some of my favorite candids.
Clark is always up on his daddy's shoulders. He loves it there. I love how peaceful he looks. He is such a mini-Brad.
Most brides look pretty coming out of the temple. I just had this "THAT'S RIGHT!" look on my face the whole time. And I liked it. I love Nathan's little fist bump and smile.
Love this one! One of the best parts of the day was being surrounded by the people we love most in the world. They have all been there from the beginning with Nathan and I. Sharing this day with them meant the world. I loved seeing these smiling faces as we came out of the temple.
Hugging my mama! I couldn't have made it to that day without her. Not a chance.
I love this for so many reasons. 1. He is so stinkin' handsome. 2. See that precious little smile on his face? It's the one he gets when he's watching me, which is what he is doing in the picture.
Brothers and best friends! :) They love each other so much. Shawn has seen more of our relationship than anyone else.
Clarky gave me the sweetest hug when I came out and he couldn't stop rubbing my dress. He said, "Kaitlin, your dress is beautiful." I love this little man so much!
And this little girl too! Gosh that face.
Don't know what I am saying to Nathan. But I apparently think it's pretty cool.
Love my second mom Jacqueline! She always is laughing and I am so glad she could come.
Here my mom is making sure one of my high school best friends, Sahir, remembers that he helped break our trampoline at my 16th birthday party. This makes me laugh so much. She can never let it go. A bunch of my football player friends (aka. fat) piled on the tramp and the springs broke.
Check out my mad moves. It was so fun to dance at the reception. I have never danced in a gorgeous dress surrounded by all my favorite people. It's kinda the bomb.
Definitely one of my favorites. Jessi is my best friend in the world and in a few short weeks she will be married too. I am so glad we have gotten and will get to share so much together.
Sooo happy :) I love this one! My in-laws are so sweet. They always act like they are still courting each other.
My DJ kept telling me to do "practice" throws so my photographer could get good pictures. I was so confused as to when I should actually throw because "All The Single Ladies" was blasting and people were yelling haha. Finally I just threw it.
There's that "THAT'S RIGHT!" face again hahaha. Running through the sparklers was awesome! We had had so much fun being with our loved ones all day, but it felt so wonderful to be running off with my husband and knowing that finally, after all these years, we would never have to leave each other again.
Love this moment :) Especially because my dear brother Blake hates taking pictures. So candids are sometimes the only way. Ava loves her daddy.
SO happy Nathan's old companion, Ian, drove all the way from Idaho for our wedding! They have a beautiful bromance and I love to see them together.
I love this one because we were supposed to be posing for a kissing picture but we kept laughing because we were so excited and happy. No time for kissing!!
My personal hair stylist :) Kels did a BANGING job on my hair and made sure it held up all day. Best big sister ever.
Watching our slideshow before the reception.
Trying to get my very enthusiastic brother to dance. Don't let him fool you, Jaden has got crazy moves!
Laughing with Kristen and touching her cute little belly, which by now is there no longer. Instead there is a precious baby girl. She is one of my oldest friends, loved having her with me all day!
Precious moment with Clarky and Amanda. By the end of the night, all the kiddies were so sleepy.
Hugs with my daddy! He's always the one who makes me cry with his precious ffej cry face.
Such a cheesy moment but I love it! Kelsey and Amanda are both my big sisters now and 2 of my very best friends. They each have a 3 year old and an under-1-year-old and they remind me so much of each other. I loved that they finally got to meet!
Nathan says the caption to this picture should be: "We both have babies! Hahaha!"
CAM THE MAN! Last one I promise, but it's my favorite. My baby brother is 13 and not big on the whole "showing emotion" thing. But I could tell he was very happy that day. He even let me kiss him :)
love your photos!!!! loved sharing that day with you. did you know we have known each other for like 15 years - wow!
