let's get down to business

Remember that song "let's get down to business" by Eminem? It was all, "Let's get down to business, I don't got no time to play around, what is it? There must be a circus in town, let's shut this $*&@ down on these clowns. Can I get a witness?" Come on guys, it was a really good song!

Annywayys. Today is one of those days where I just say what's on my mind and document it on my blog so my children will one day be able to look back and know where they got their crazy genes from. Clearly, their father

I hate when people call sunglasses "sunnies," when people call picture of themselves "selfies," and when people call skinny jeans "skinnies." Is it really that hard to say the whole word?

I have started making my blog into a book. I have been working for a couple weeks and am done with 4 months. It is hard stuff guys.

Sometimes, I really want to make this blog private. I started this blog for documentation, to make it into a book, and for my family to see all the really exciting things I do. But when I see that someone from some city in Montana is checking my blog like, 7 times a day, it freaks me out a little. I don't post the link to my blog anywhere, not even on my FB. But when we lost Maddie, a lot of people shared her story and now I have a lot more people reading. If you think my life is cool to read, go ahead. Just don't check it 7 times a day, kay guys? Plus, I know if I go private, my mom would never be able to figure out how to get to my blog. She usually can't remember how to copy and paste.

Summer is awesome. Most people would be crazy without something to do every day, but I have learned something about myself over the past few years. I am very. very god at doing nothing.

I finally saw The Great Gatsby and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot! (Wish I would say the same for you, Arrested Development). Leo was perfect. Toby was perfect. (And I usually hate Toby). Chick who played Daisy was perfect. Dude who played Tom was perfect. I LOVED IT. Great cast, great acting, great script. I loved how much they used exact lines from the book. I love how they included so much of the symbolism (the green light, Dr TJ Eckleburg) even though to some people it might not make sense. (If it doesn't make sense, read the dang book) I was worried about this movie because it happens to be my #1 favorite book of alllllll time. But it was lovely. A few things were left out but very little was added which was great. I even liked the way they had Nick in a mental institution place or whatever. It made for an easy transition from book to movie with all his narration.

Wendy's frosty cones are awesome.

I have to write 11 papers for my class on Tuesday. Why did I decide to go back to school 4 months after I graduated? I wish I could find that Kaitlin and smack her.

I got Nathan's Father's Day gift today and I am sooo excited to give it to him! But it's wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper..

We are re-watching The Office for the 900th time. Why do I still get so excited about Jim and Pam? They make my heart melt.

Sometimes I feel like Nathan is never going to graduate school. School is lame.

Watch this video. Your life will change.

Here's a Nathan update: He is kicking butt at work. Got this HUGE client that is bringing in tons of money, so I am a big fan. I get to go to lunch with him every day since I am on break. He's going to school part time for the summer. He is really smart. I like him. And he makes crazy eyes when I take pictures of him.

I have literally nothing else to say. I hope you enjoyed this waste of time!
