I cannot believe how fast February went!! It's usually the slowest month, even though it's the shortest, but it flew by this time. Thank goodness. It hasn't been as warm as last year, but besides a couple storms and some inversion at the beginning of the month, the weather has been beautiful. SO thankful for that.
Here's the crap we did in February!
+ Sometimes Nathan gets off a little early on Tuesdays and it's awesome. Sadie is usually napping when he gets home, but I get to go lay down and he gets her up and plays with her. One day I woke up and heard quiet giggling. I walk out into the living room and just see a fort. Sadie was in Heaven. She was mad that I kept lifting the blanket to take pictures, if you couldn't tell. Haha
Date to Olive Garden!
+ Sadie loves Lady just as much as ever. I feel like I just always say this, haha. She is getting more gentle and actually figuring out how to really play with her. Lady is still patient for the most part. They are the cutest little pals.
+ For about 2 weeks, Sadie refused to nap without being rocked. It was super random. She has never needed to be rocked, even as a newborn. She would go down fine at night, but at naps she would roll and play for HOURS, unless I rocked her. Then she would fall asleep in 30 seconds. It was kinda really sweet. She's become so cuddly and I just really love it. She isn't doing is really anymore, except randomly on Sunday, but sometimes I just rock her anyway because she's so cute.
+ Sunday bed selfie. We did not plan to match.
+ We had some visits and lunch dates with aunt Katie!
+ If you haven't noticed, Sadie is obsessed with her blankets. She wants to constantly be wrapped up and snuggled. One morning she was especially cuddly and I literally couldn't even go to the bathroom without her asking for cuddles.
+ But don't worry, my cat is still way more high-maintenance. Sometimes I wonder if I am a stay-at-home mom for Sadie, or for Lady.
+ We have a cute little soda/ice cream/shaved ice/cookie place in our neighborhood. Similar to places like Swig, but way better because they have way more and it's all homemade and hole-in-the-wall and just the best. In February they were running a name special where people with a certain name got a free drink and cookie. I was following their instagram page like a stalker but I somehow missed the day when MY NAME came up. Don't worry, a bunch of the youth in our ward work there and one girl told me it was my day before it was too late. It was the best day of my life!!!!
+ Earrrrrrlllllly on a Wednesday morning, we got to go to the Provo City Center Temple open house! The tickets were so hard to get, this was one of the only times we could go, but I am happy we went then. Because I've seen pictures of the lines on weekends and it's crazy, haha.
Side story of the night before: We knew we were going to have to get up really early to rush out there. It's somehow always harder to get up early in the winter because it's cold and dark, so I was already dreading it. But somehow I knew something was going to go wrong. Before going to bed I checked the monitor and Sadie was sitting up, which was weird but she wasn't crying so I figured she'd go back to sleep. Around 1am she started crying, which never happens. I went in and rocked her for a minute and she fell back asleep. I did that twice more before I went in at 3 and she was burning up. She had been working on 4 molars, so I figured it was from that. I gave her some tylenol and brought her to bed with me. She slept for about 30 minutes before she woke up and realized she was in mom's bed and that's the coolest thing ever. She woke me up by pointing to my eyes and saying "eeeyyyeeee." So then I took her back to her room, rocked her one more time and she finally fell asleep for good. And we had to wake up 2 hours later, haha. It was a long night, but she's never had a night like that before. She's always slept well, and only been sick once in her life. So I really don't have much room to complain.
BACK TO THE TEMPLE. We got there and Sadie was really excited about her little booties. She was so good and excited through the temple. And holy crap that temple is GORGEOUS. I am so glad I got to go through with my little eternal family.
+ Nathan and I always fill out ballots for most of the major award shows and have a little party. (Which mostly means we watch, drink diet coke, and eat brownies). I have won everrrrrry single time. I am very proud of myself. This was from the Grammys, but I also won the Oscars. Yay me!
+ We go on lots of walks around our cute, quiet little neighborhood. I love it here. The snow is completely melted now!
+ Lady thinks I got this pregnancy pillow just for her.
+ Every Wednesday we have play group. Sadie is the youngest, but has really started to like it. One week someone brought this spinny toy and she was obsessed. She sat and spun herself for thirty minutes.
+ Nathan chopped his hair and shaved his beard! When he came home, Sadie was a little freaked out. She wouldn't talk to him or give him kisses.
+ We are still busy with Young Men's and Young Women's and we love it! And we love how much our kids love Sadie. This was a combined activity where different groups were trying to build the tallest card tower. Sadie had a hard time not knocking everyone's down.
+ We've been back to our favorite park a few times! We just really love Liberty. I love that there are walking trails, several playgrounds, and a lake with plenty of ducks. Everything Sadie needs.

Nathan joins us after work |
+ These pictures made me laugh. Pregnancy is so beautiful. Hahaha.
+ iHop and carwash on a Saturday morning!
+ Teaching Sadie to dip her veggies in ranch.
+ After a morning of dragging Sadie around Old Navy and Down East with me, we stopped at a park on our way home and were the only ones there. We had a lot of fun, and Sadie got the BEST static, hahaha.
+ When Sadie gets her bedtime milk, she always wants to snuggle with daddy. It's cute. And these are actually two different days, despite Nathan wearing the same shirt. How embarrassing.
+ Enjoying our yard!
+ Enjoying snapchat!
+ Woke up one morning to this on the counter. I love my husband so much.
+ Oh hey, just another park. This one is right by our house and has a whole separate playground for smaller kids. I love it.
+ Monday nights are Bachelor Home Evening! We got smart cookie last Monday too. I love Nathan so much for encouraging my bad habits like smart cookie and the bachelor, haha.
+ Sadie and I hung out and had lunch with my Aunt Beth and cousin Tori this week. Sadie went crazy for their sweet dog and followed Tori everywhere.
Now onto March!
