We really do call her the wrecking ball. She can destroy a room in a few seconds flat. Every drawer will be emptied. Even the rugs will be picked up and thrown around. She never sits still. She's insane, hahaha. But she's so sweet! So even when her hyperness is exhausting, she's got the angel face to make up for it. I'm sure Heavenly Father did that on purpose.
The angel face isn't always around though tantrums are a pretty daily occurrence. She throws herself to the ground and sobs. She gets over them fast, most of the time. She also likes to tell us "no" when we want her to do something. Such a diva and only 17 months!
She's learning and growing so much! She loves to say 3 when we're counting, but doesn't like if i count past 3. She pretend count a lot, and sometimes remembers the right words for "one, two, three." She loves stacking objects and is really good at putting her big Legos together. She speaks to us as if she's speaking English. Long sentences with lots of inflection. It's so freaking cute. She says hi and waves to everyone. Or sometimes she'll just walk up to me and say hi. She pretends to talk on our phones a lot and always starts with "hi!" When she wants something she yells mama. She has started pointing at or pulling off her diaper when it's too full.
She would read book ALL DAY LONG if I let her. She loves them so much. The other day she woke up hysterically crying from her nap, which she never does,'so I ran in there and she was crying because she could see a book on the floor and she wanted it. She brings me book after book to read to her, but she also enjoys looking at them herself. She loves to just climb in her rocking chair with a bunch of books.
She has no idea I'm pregnant, obviously. So she can be really rough on my stomach when she plays. It's been hard trying to teach her to be soft, especially because we're always telling her to smack her own belly, haha.
She started saying the words "please," "up," "help," "out." These have been really helpful because there's A LOT less whining and crying. She knows if she wants something, she needs to use one of the words. It's kinda a problem though because she says "please" whenever she wants something and it kills me to say no because she's so sweet! I've noticed that she can repeat most of what we say, but she doesn't. She's so stubborn! Nathan has gotten her to say her own name twice, but when he calls me into the room to hear it, she just stares at us. So often I'll say a word and she'll point at the object and repeat it. Then never say it again. She's such a punk, haha.
She loves to "clean." She takes paper towels and wipes and wipes everything down. Mostly her face and her toys. But she's good now where if she spills something, she immediately wants to help clean it up. She had a word obsession with dipping all her food. She has to dip things! Even if she's dipping her banana into her Cheerios. She's also obsessed with pointing at our eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and hair. She's known where most of these things are for several months now, but suddenly she has to do it alllllll the time. Anytime she's close to our faces she started pointing them out. (She's says "eyes" and "ears"). Then she points to them on her face. She doesn't this to her stuffed animals and characters in her books too.

She loves playing with her hot wheels cars and making them go "vroom." She still loves balls, and has a ball pit now which is awesome. She's loves coloring. She loves dancing. She LOVES the swing and the slide at the park. She's still not afraid of anything. Which is sweet, but also terrifying because she charges at giant dogs, tries to jump in the lake with the ducks, and thinks she can jump off the playground equipment.
She has a hard time saying goodbye to her daddy, especially on Mondays after getting to spend the whole weekend with him. She loves to FaceTime, especially with my niece or any of my nephews. We go to playgroup every Wednesday and it's been fun to watch her go from standing by me the whole time, to really starting to play. She's the youngest, but it never really seems to show.
