Guys. I love the Fourth of July.
Seriously, I love it.
I always have and I have no idea why.
Maybe it's because I love summer so much and America is awesome or something.
Either way it's always been my favorite.
This was my first 4th of July in Utah, even though I have lived here for 6 years. Weird, right? I've spent 2 in Mission Viejo and 3 in Logandale. This year I enjoyed Utah's festivities. Of course, I chose the year that Utah is covered in fires and we weren't allowed to buy our own fireworks and the city shows were cut short. Aw well. We spent it with awesome people!
We left Tuesday night and headed down to Cedar City to spend it with Amanda and Brad! We got very little sleep, thanks for keeping us up guys, and spent the morning at the Cedar City parade!!
Let me first say that Cedar City is adorable! Main street is basically the cutest thing I have ever seen with antique stores and old fashioned candy and soda shops. I almost died. The parade was fun. The best part was when the dance group came down and during the entire routine some dancer girl made really uncomfortable eye contact with me. Not even kidding. She would not look away. I feel like she was boring into my soul and now she knows all my secrets.
I got a plant at the parade! Yes, a plant. Some floats threw out candy, some thew out cucumber plants.
Talking a walk down main street.
We met up with some of Brad's family and had some lunch and hung out then played at the park until it started raining. Yay for fires but boo for playing at the park. Nathan and I headed back to Amanda and Brad's where we ate pizza and cakeballs and I didn't feel fat at all! Just kidding. We fell into food comas until about 10pm when it was time for fireworks.
The candy came out!
Like father, like son.
Thumbs up for rock n' roll.
This was before I finished making the cake balls. First time using white chocolate as coating. It was hard to use and they look pretty ugly, but dang were they delicious!
Maybe fireworks were a tiny bit disappointing because of the fires, but it was still fun. I love fireworks. And I love the 4th of July. And I love the Robison's! Thanks for having us guys :) I'll end with a super flatering photo of you both.

Thanks for that last photo Kaitlin!!! We had fun with you guys!!
