This week started my first venture back into the world of a professional, leaving behind the world of the lazy bums who sit on the couch and watch Arrested Development all day. It was my first work training for the new school year! We learned all about the new literacy program that we will be teaching in our resource pull-out language arts class next year. It made me so excited to get back to work!! I can't wait to meet my new kiddies and have another amazing year! Plus, they fed us pretty bomb food at this conference. And it was down town so I could just walk instead of the 30 minute commute out to my school. It was a nice little change in this lazy summer of mine. 8th graders of south hills middle school, I am coming back for you!!
