Christmas in England part 7: A real footbal game

For Christmas, my dad got all the boys tickets to a real football game! (Except Cameron, who claims English sports are stupid). They had a blast!
The game was between Hull and Manchester United. Apparently, there's a huge rivalry there. In the second picture you can see that the visiting fans from Manchester had to be completely surrounded by police. There are also signs on all the nearby pub windows that say "No visiting fans allowed." England takes their football seriously.

Us ladies laid around and then did some more laying around when the boys got home. I felt bad being so lazy while I was in England, but it was taking a lot longer for the jet-lag to wear off than I thought it would!

We all got restless though, and decided to have a pool party! My parents have an indoor pool and it's the greatest thing ever. We had so much fun playing in there for a couple hours.
It's weird that the little brother who I used to rock to sleep can now lift me up on his shoulders

We ended the night playing a game Nathan got for Christmas called Bang. I will save the trouble of writing this over and over by saying that most nights ended with us playing Bang. It's an awesome game. You should get it.
