I have tons of pictures and little events to blog about. But I am too lazy right now. Maybe I'll get around to it next week? Who knows. Here's an update of what we are doing.
+ After a crazy busy first half of the summer, I am feeling quite useless these days. Our apartment is usually pretty clean and kept up, so I don't have much housework to do. We don't have a nursery to decorate yet. I am unemployed. Most of my friends work all day. And really, there's only so much reading, Netflix binging, and pool sitting you can do before you feel a little worthless. Can it be October yet??
+ I have started a few projects to fill my time. I am making family yearbooks, starting at the point we got engaged since it so conveniently falls on January 1st, 2012. I love it! It's tedious and time consuming, but I already finished our first year of marriage! Thank goodness I blog. I wouldn't remember what we did each other if I didn't! I use Shutterfly, and I use 2 pages for each month. The first page has a couple big pictures with a short blurb about what happened that month. Then the second page is a huge collage of pictures from that month. I am also really glad I take pictures of everything. I don't care that people laugh at me, haha. My family yearbooks are gonna be awesome because of it! Here's just a few random months.

+ I also started selling old stuff online, mostly our old text books. So far I've made almost 80 bucks just off selling our text books on Amazon. Preeettyyy sweet.
+ Nathan officially got his diplomas in the mail from LDSBC. Pretty exciting! Degree in business and accounting. We are excited to move onto this next chapter though. School starts at the Berklee School of Music on September 29th. Basically right when the baby is supposed to come, haha. We have taken out our student loans and are officially in debt for the first time as a married couple! So exciting!!!
+ Lady cat is still amazing. I know I don't talk about her as much as I used to, but don't worry. We are still just as obsessed. We are trying to train her though and get her ready for the baby. She is a very high-maintenance cat. And you might think you understand, but you don't. My cat like to be held multiple times a day. Like a baby. She wakes us up a few times a night. She eats human food and expects to be fed whatever we are eating. (She has rarely not eaten something we have given her. She even ate an entire black olive one time). She sulks when left alone. She never hides like normal cats do. She always wants to be around us, even if she is just sleeping. And she usually likes to sleep touching one of us. Even if she just sleeps on top of my foot. She runs to the door to greet us, like a dog, every time we come home. She then immediately falls over, stretches out, and meows until we rub her belly. Guys, she isn't normal. So as sad as it is, we are trying to give her a little bit less attention to get her used to it. The first day I didn't pick her up all day, she jumped up on the bed and literally started climbing up me. But she is already calming down a bit just after a few weeks. It's hard to do though. Because she's so freaking cute I can't stand it.
+ We bought her this super cute, cushy, every-cat's-dream kind of bed hoping that we could train her to sleep on the bed and not with us. She slept in it twice, but now I think she knows what we are trying to do, so she refuses to sleep in it. She will literally sleep on the floor next to it, but not in it. She's so sassy. She's lucky that bed wasn't expensive. Although the cashier at Target tried to talk us out of buying it. He said it was a dog's bed, and his cats wouldn't be happy if he came home with a bed for a small dog and not specifically a cat's bed. You guys, he was serious. He was literally trying to get us to not buy it because it said, "small dog bed" and not "cat bed."
+ We get to go to Lovelock today to visit Amanda, Brad, and the boys in their new little town! We got Harry Potter on CD to make the drive go faster. I am so excited because Nathan has only ever read the first 3 books and it was years ago. I am going to make him an addict if it's the last thing I do.
+ I am really excited to hang out with another pregnant lady. Thanks for being pregnant at the same time as me, Amanda!
+ Nathan and I have found a million new places we love to go on walks. It's fun. We really love where we live.
+ Speaking of that, looks like we will most likely be remaining in the area and our ward after baby comes. Our contract is up at the end of October, so we will be bringing her home to our current apartment and be chillin' here for a few weeks. Then, most likely, we will be moving into the basement apartment of a sweet couple in our ward. They are doing the remodeling right now, so literally everything will be brand new. It will be a 2-bedroom with a fully furnished kitchen and laundry room. Much bigger than our place now and it will be cheaper. We will even have our own little yard! We are still working out details with them, but everyone really wants us to stay in the ward, so they aren't even advertising the place. They only want us, haha. So we are just making sure it's what we want to do. I worry about basement apartments because I love my sunshine, and so does Lady. But, they promise to make the window-wells as big as they can, and if it means less rent, bigger place, cute neighborhood, awesome ward, safe area.. it's kinda a sacrifice I can deal with. Plus I will have a yard to go play in! I wish we could move in before baby comes, but the remodeling won't be done until October.
+ WE LOVE BACHELOR IN PARADISE. Yes, even Nathan. It's impossible NOT to get into this show. It's just so ridiculous!!! We spend the whole time laughing hysterically. I love it so much.
+ I have loved Nathan being off school this summer. We have had so much time together! I know his next degree is all online, but he'll be glued to the computer some nights. I am going to miss just being able to do whatever we want! It will be really nice to have him home though.
+ We have been reading "What To Expect The First Year" together and are getting really, really excited!!
That's pretty much the haps round here. I should probably go pack for our weekend trip. Will someone come by every 30 seconds while we are gone to hold my cat and tell her she's pretty?
