Nesting in a tiny one bedroom apartment

Remember when we decided to move this past January?
And since we weren't getting pregnant after so many months of trying, I suggested we save some money by downgrading to a one-bedroom?
And then the day before we moved we found out we were pregnant?
So we knew we would have to move again in 9 months?
That was dumb. Why didn't we just get a two-bedroom!?
I hate moving.

I know we came to this apartment, area, and ward for a reason.
So I don't regret the 9 months we have spent here.
It also led us to our new place- our brand spanking new basement home that we got to kind of help design and basically set our own rent.
It's in our ward, which we are stoked about because this is the best ward we've ever been in.
Our landlords are two wonderful people from our ward who we love.
It's in the cutest dang neighborhood. Guys, we are going to live on Cherry Tree Lane!
It's obviously still in our same area, Cottonwood Heights, which we love.
Problem is, the basement won't be ready until beginning/middleish of Novemeber.
Baby comes in 6 weeks.
That means we are bringing this little lady home to our tiny one-bedroom.
She was always going to sleep in our room for the first little while, so that's not really a big deal.
But this place is just so small, and we have soooooo much baby stuff!
Not to mention my nesting instincts are in hyper-drive, and I have no nursery to decorate yet.

Nathan told me we could spend Saturday doing as much "nesting" as we could.
It helped calm me down. For now :)

We had gotten our glider the day before. It was the group gift at my bridal shower and had been on back order. WE LOVE IT SO MUCH I CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS. Nathan set it up for me and I rocked most of the night.
Lady literally thinks this chair is just for her. She sleeps here half the day.
In this picture you can see some of our baby crap station since we ran out of room in storage. We had to remove our kitchen table and we are just stacking crap there. We really, really can't wait to move.

We sorted through all the endless amounts of baby clothes and pulled out all the newborn-3 month stuff and washed it. Then I had to empty the baby dresser. When we moved, we put the baby dresser in our walk in closet and had two dressers. It was awesome. So I was slightly sad to have to shove all our stuff back into one dresser, but not that sad. Because now it's filled with baby clothes!!! We sorted all the clothes by age and type and the drawers filled up fast. Because we have way too much baby clothes.
Nathan set up our pack-n-play bassinet/changing table. It's amazing how many things that pack-n-play can be. I get so excited to put a little baby in there. I also set up a little changing station and got all her bath stuff organized. Including hanging her baby robe on the hook on our bathroom door and I almost died because it was so cute.
This is how Lady felt when Nathan turned on the mobile. We have had to train her with the water bottle to stay out of the crib. She wants to sleep in there soooo bad,
We got all her blankets and swaddlers washed and folded and they are just sitting in the bassinet. We packed a hospital bag and got her car seat all together. It's taking all my strength to not put the car seat in yet, haha.

But basically, everything is ready for baby now. I am excited to bring her home to this little place. It will be a fun, albeit cramped, month together. I will have a cute nursery to decorate in November, but I can wait until then. The nursery is more for the mom, let's be honest. She won't remember us bringing her home to this cramped, one-bedroom with two giant dogs that live down stairs. But I am so excited for it!
