Lovelock

If you haven't noticed, Nathan and I are big family people. Family are our best friends, and we wouldn't have it any other way! This summer has been Heaven because we have gotten to see so much of both of our families. Our last summer trip, and last pre-baby trip, was to Lovelock, NV.

Amanda and Brad recently moved there when Brad graduated and got a sweet job out there. We have really wanted to visit them because we missed them, and I needed those little boys in my life. We love hanging out with Amanda and Brad. It's so easy and so fun. And seriously, I''m obsessed with my nephews.

We did a lot of relaxing and playing. Friday we stayed up way too late watching Friends and talking about everything under the sun. Saturday morning we had a big breakfast and played with the boys. Then they toured us around their cute, little town and we got to go to Brad's work. He even tortured Nathan. I mean stretched out his spine.

Then we headed up into the mountains and had an awesome picnic. We drove around and saw some cool Ghost Towns then found a cute park and even saw Mark Twain's old house! We played and Brad cooked us an amazing dinner. We stayed until the sunset then went home for banana splits. And staying up way too late again.

We left Sunday afternoon after a lazy morning of playing, talking, and relaxing. It's always so sad to leave.

 I wish I had pictures of our food because it was so amazing. Unfortunately, we scarfed it down in seconds.
