just him and me pt. 3

This is a special edition of "just him and me," because it takes place solely at one of our new favorite places, Wheeler Farm! We found this place by accident a couple months ago. I have heard people talk about it before and there is even a big sign on the freeway right by the exit for our home that says, "Wheeler Farm." But i never thought about it, and didn't know exactly where it was. Well we drove by it one Sunday and saw tons of baby sheep and had to stop! If you have never been, go now. We go every couple weeks and always love it. There's a huge park area, a cute little river, lots of walking trails, and a farm! A farm full of animals that you just get to go and pet. I LOVE ANIMALS!!!!!

The first couple times we just stuck to the walking trails, because they were huge and there was so much to see just there! But this was the first time we ventured to the farm after our walk, and I think we spent and hour and a half just over there. All the animals are very people-friendly and love to come over and let you pet them. There were lots of babies too! We got to see two baby sheep nurse and it looked incredibly painful for their poor mother. There was a black sheep. There was a goat who was all alone and wanted a lot of attention. There were two giant pigs bathing together. There were freaking majestic horses who were so sweet! There were lots of goats and baby goats and I think they were my favorite. There was a giant turkey that I was scared of. We loved it.

We have been back several times for walking but this was my favorite trip. The wearer was perfect, there weren't too many people there, we had a lovely walk, and then hung out with baby animals. Heaven!

I wish we had brought our real camera, because iPhone pictures are lame. I also wish we had taken more pictures. Especially of the horses and baby goats. I WANT A BABY GOAT!

Nathan said he wanted it to look like we were in the jungle.
Every time we go on a walk here, we find a new place to explore!
These animals were not scared of humans, haha

GO TO WHEELER FARM! We only ever go on Sundays, so maybe weekdays are different, but it's so gorgeous and peaceful on Sundays!
