4 months. Holy cow! I can't believe how fast time is going and how big she is getting!! This month was so fun! She seriously progressed so much during this month, I feel like we have a totally different baby.
She was blessed at the beginning of this month which was wonderful. She looked like an angel in her dress and she acted like an angel. She slept through her whole blessing and got passed around like a football at the luncheon without much fussing at all!
Her fist is in her mouth all day long. She really shoves that thing in there!! It results in copious amount of drool. Seriously, so much spit all the time. If I know we are going to be meeting up with people later in the day, I put a bib on her so she doesn't ruin her outfit. She also just loves to hold her fist in the air. Sometimes she stares at it, sometimes it just hanging out, up in the air.
She started reaching for things last month and has come a long way since then. She now reaches, grabs, and shoves in her mouth. She can sometimes still struggle with grasping hard enough to hold on, but she's getting so good! She loves to play with her plastic rings. They go everywhere with us. She also loves her light-up butterfly, her rattle ball, and her baby Einstein light-up toy. It's so fun to see her actually interact and play with toys. She reaches for anything that's within her reach. That makes face-timing my mom using my phone hard, hah. I also can't eat with her on my lap anymore.

She is awake a good portion of the day now and it's weird but I love it! She was awake through all of church this week for the first time. She just loves looking around and watching people. She usually does 2-3 naps a day. She's a good napper. She started out the month being her awesome sleeping self. She has slept through the night since she was 2 months, but a couple weeks ago she decided sleeping at night was lame. We entered a lovely sleep regression phase that's still happening. I've been told it's normal and it's most likely due to the fact that she is hitting so many milestones right now and progressing quickly, but it sucks. I went from 7 consecutive hours of sleep to her waking every couple hours again. Like a newborn! But I can't complain too much, because once she nurses for a couple minutes she goes right back to sleep. So I'm getting plenty of sleep, I just have to wake up a lot haha. She's great at putting herself to sleep for naps and when it's bed time. She just needs to learn to put herself back to sleep when she wakes up.
She is sooo smiley!!! But only is she knows you. It's so funny to see her learn who her mom and dad are, and she is sometimes wary of others. She lets people hold her no problem (except when I went to Katie's work that one time and she cried whenever anyone else held her). She gets passed around at church and family gatherings. But she really only talks, smiles, and laughs for Nathan and I. Sometimes I wish she would do it so others could see it, but it also makes me feel special that it's just for is, haha.
We started getting real giggles this month and it's so fun to try new things to get them out of her. She loves when we sing to her and dance with her. She also loves when you talk in a high pitched voice .
Pretty much anything that is high pitched makes her smile and laugh. She loves when kids at the store throw tantrums, or when Lady meows.
She's so aware of everything. Gone are the days when I could sneak past her in her crib while she was slowly falling asleep. When we drive now she watches out the window instead of falling asleep. She watches tv with us too. It's so weird and awesome to see her become a little person.
She still loves bath time and loves to be naked in general. Whenever she's fussy, I just strip her down to her diaper and she's suddenly a happy camper. She is such a chill baby. As she's become more aware of us, she is a bit more clingy though. She wants to be held and be a part of whatever we are doing. She also notices when we leave the room and she's gets sad. But she really is so good.
She thinks her daddy is the funniest and he's the one who can get her to laugh the most. True story, one time he was saying "boo" at her and she was laughing hysterically. I tried it the exact same way, just second after he had done it, and she started crying. Hahaah. But she adores him. When he comes home for lunch or comes home after work, she gets so excited!! She gets the biggest smile on her face and starts giggling and kicking her legs like crazy. Gosh she's so much fun!!!
She moved up to size 2 Diapers and is still in 3 month clothes, though she fits into a lot of 3-6 month clothing now too. She has the best thigh rolls and her double chin is amazing. She is such a chunk and I love it! It's so weird to think about how tiny she was when she was born. She wasn't even 6 pounds when we brought her home! Crazy.
She is talking a TON. She always has something to say. I love it. She has also found her toes and enjoys talking to them. Or just holding them. She loves to always be holding things, and often falls asleep with toys in her hands.
We love this little lady so much and can't get enough of her!
