Christmas Break pt. 5

The next day was New Year's Eve, and Ava's birthday!
We celebrated by going to an awesome trampoline place. The babies and kids had a blast. But I think the husbands and brother had more fun, haha.

After the Ava celebrations, New Years celebrations began! My mom brought out a selfie stick, which easily could have been Ava's only present with how happy it made her. She took around 800 pictures. I am not posting them all, haha. We played pie-face again, and Sadie definitely decided she hates it. She cried every time Nathan or I played. She cries when she even sees videos of the game still. She's so weird. We did a fake count down at 9, then put the babies to bed. Then we played an edited version of Cards Against Humanity which lasted until real midnight. Many tears were shed from laughing so hard.

Such a fun New Year!!

The next day we relaxed and hung out, and visited Lake Mission Viejo. My parents get access to a private beach with their new apartment. It was awesome.

On our last full day, we went out to a park that we grew up going to. Except it's totally awesome and remodeled now. We got Royals for lunch, and enjoyed the rest of the day.

We went to the spectrum that night and ate at Red Robin. It was funny because that exact Red Robin was the first place Nathan went to dinner with my family. It's where he met my dad because my dad just met us there after work. That was 8 years ago, haha.

The next morning we all packed up and headed out. We made the long drive all in one day again. it wasn't too bad. It was a perfect 2 weeks with my family!! We miss them all so much already.

  1. We used to go to that Red Robin sooooo often when we lived in Irvine! Chad would be a-ok with meeting Kota's future husband for the first time there hahaha! Any guy he could split a basket of fries and honey mustard dip with would get his blessing lol
