Thanksgiving!

We headed up to Idaho for Thanksgiving! (almost 2 months ago.. haha). Nathan got work off Wednesday, so we got to get there earlier than usual, which was really nice.

We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal, and Sadie was in my favorite outfit ever, which is all that really matters. It was freezing, but we had a lot of fun playing outside after dinner! I love my in-law's backyard. We hung out the rest of the day, and did lots of visiting with Heather. We stayed up wayyy too late with Shawn and Jaden. I never get any sleep when we are at my in-laws, but that's okay.

On Friday, Shawn, Jaden, Megan, Nathan, Sadie, and I went to lunch, then braved Target for Black Friday sales. We got some pretty awesome stuff. That night we played games and watched a movie. Then guess what? We stayed up way too late.

We decided to go home on Saturday, since Nathan had tons of homework. But first, we left the baby with the grandparents, dropped Shawn off at his house, and went for a drive with some donuts. We played around when we got home, and then it was time to say goodbye! It's been so fun to see so much of my inlaws the past few months. We have barely gone a month without seeing them since May! Pretty crazy!! We, of course, stopped at Burger Den for lunch. Then drove home blasting Christmas music and enjoying all the snow. It was such a fun trip!!

Sadie and her Grandpa Merkley have a special friendship. They are both a little obsessed with each other.

When we got home, we had lots of packages from our black Friday shopping already! Lady forgave us for leaving her when she saw the big box. We also decided that one Thanksgiving dinner wasn't enough, and made a second one on Sunday. Ahhhhh foooooood!
