The fourth has always been one of my favorite holidays. Nathan and I have spent it with his family (and one time with mine) since we started dating. I even spent it with his family while we was on his mission! This was our first year doing it just us, and it was fun! We missed family, but it's fun to also start our own little traditons.
We had a big red, white, and blue breakfast
Then we spent the morning and early afternoon in the yard playing in the pools, throwing water balloons, and eating lunch
+ Then nap time before our bbq
+ We watched a movie until it finally got dark enough (10pm), and we made a big bed out on the lawn to watch fireworks. We had neighbors setting them off, and could see a few of the city shows too. We also set off our own in the street. It was wonderful. Seriously the perfect way to end the day! Snuggling up with my little family.
