what we did in July

+ We did some small fireworks and sparklers the weekend before the 4th. I'm glad we did it to get Sadie used to them, because she was terrified at first. She loved it by the end.

+ After a very busy June with having a baby, that baby going to the hospital, and Nathan finishing up his semester, then our families coming to town for a week, we had a pretty quiet July. We did a lot of laying around, and it was great.
Sadie's face though

+ We've hung out in the backyard a lot, as usual
Making water balloons. She could play with the hose alllll day

+ I felt accomplished because I figured out my baby wrap

+ But there were lots of days where I didn't feel accomplished because my day looked like this

+ We picked my little brother from EFY and got to hang out with him before taking him to the airport

+ We've spent a lot of evenings at different parks, not just for Sadie, but so Nathan can catch Pokemon.

+ Sadie and daddy went swimming!

+ One night Nathan went to go get Pokemon (yeah, he's obsessed) while I put Jack down and this happened. It was the scariest night of my life.

+ I started doing some "school" time with Sadie. Some days it goes well, some days not so much, haha.

+ One Friday Katie came over and brought us presents from Europe! Then Melece came and brought her dog! Best night ever

+ Getting them dressed up is my favorite thing ever

+ We love to walk around our block at night.

+ I just finished a year and 2 month journey in clear braces! I am SO happy I did this. I had braces in high school, but never wore my retainer. Like an idiot. After 10 years my teeth had moved A LOT. So happy to not hate my smile anymore :)

+ We celebrated Harry Potter's birthday with dessert and a Harry Potter movie.

+ And to finish the month, a whole bunch of pictures of Sadie and Jack. She is so freaking sweet with him, I can't handle it. She loves when he does tummy time the most. She lays down with him and pats his back. She is always grabbing his hands and kissing them, or kissing all over his face, or pointing out where his eyes and nose are. She asks for him first thing in the morning, and gets mad if I hold him while standing up, because then she can't see him. I love these two so much.

She was smiling at the camera until he made a noise and she freaked out
