I had a really nice and relaxing Mother's Day this year. Nathan asked earlier in the week what I wanted for breakfast in bed. We have church at 9am. So I basically told him if he woke me up earlier than 830 he was in trouble. So we had lunch in bed instead, after church. Church was lovely. I got to go to relief society because the men took care of Young Women's. We got a pretty flower, but what I really wanted was candy. Haha.
Nathan made some freaking delicious chicken and fruit. Then gave me a few presents and flowers. He's so cute. He also gave me the most amazing chocolate. I maybe ate the whole thing that day. We hung out in bed and watched hours of Lost. That's pretty much my favorite thing to do. We wanted to go to the park, but it was raining and freezing! So we hung out. And ate. And relaxed. It was lovely.

I've never really had a favorite kind of flower, I just love having beautiful colors. Nathan always makes sure to buy me new and bright colors! I love it! |

Being laaaazy. And doing "Ava" smiles ;) |
I thought a lot about Madelyn that day. She made me a mother, after all. This Mother's Day was much easier than last, but still really hard in different ways. I am so excited for this new little girl to enter our lives, but it doesn't erase the pain and missing of Maddie. I still love her so much.
It was such a great day. After all that laying around, we were pooped by the end of the day, haha. I love these roommates of mine.
