New toy

We have been wanting a desktop computer for a while.
We both have lap tops, but they aren't the greatest.
Nathan's is a gigantic piece of crap. I don't even know what brand it is. The internet doesn't work and it dies instantly if it isn't plugged in.
Mine is a 3 year old Apple Mac Book that hasn't been treated the best (oops) and is slowly dying.
So it's been a want for a while.
Then Nathan got into the music production program at Berklee, and it became a need.
He will be spending much of his time on the computer writing and recording music.
Both of our laptops would not be able to handle that.
So BAM. Our want became a need and we felt justified.
So we got this:

Here's the first photobooth pictures we took on her because, of course.

We knew that the little TV dinner stand Nathan had been using as a desk wouldn't work for the amount of time he will be spending at the computer, so the next day we headed out and came home with a new desk and new chair. We felt like real grownups. What kind of grownups don't have a computer desk in their "dining room," right next to their kitchen table/card table. Gotta love one bedrooms.

Nathan was all like, "This is going to make recording and editing music so much more efficient and easy! I will also be able to do home work faster since it doesn't move like a dinosaur. This is going to change my education!"
And I was like, "DO YOU SEE HOW BIG FACEBOOK IS?!"
