baby shower #2

Back in July, my sisters threw me an awesome baby shower at home in California. I felt blessed just to have that amazing shower! But then my BFF Jenna offered to throw me one here in Utah too! I am one lucky lady.

It was such a blast! It was hosted at the mansion, literally, that my friend Kourtney is currently living at. It belongs to a friend of her mom. It's one of the most amazing houses I have ever been in. Seriously.

I loved having all my worlds combined. Friends from my childhood, family members, friends from college, teacher friends, and my "internet" friends. (If you don't know by now, and you probably should, I met some of my very best friends on an internet group years ago that support girls waiting for LDS missionaries. I know, right? Anyway, they became real life friends so it's not creepy anymore. They are amazing). We talked and played games and ate lots of delicious food. Thanks for taking all the pictures for me, Jenna!

I met Laina's little girl, Millie, for the first time. Safe to say I am obsessed.

The diaper game was my favorite, hahaha

Also meeting my friend Megan's girl, Ava, for the first time. And yes, I am also obsessed.

Just an "internet friend" who became one of my best friends and roommate and essentially, my wife. I am telling you, the internet is where it's at.

We opened presents and I realized that I embarrassingly expressive. We got so much incredible stuff. I still feel giddy. I love the people in my life. 

Hand-made hair bows from Laina! I told her I had none, and she made sure that wasn't the case any longer.

When I realized that Katie had bought me not just a baby carrier but my dream baby carrier! The baby carrier of all baby carriers!

Part of the present from my Aunt Beth was a dress that I wore as a baby that was passed on to her and her girls. How thoughtful is that?! It is the cutest little Christmas dress.

My co--worker, Beth, MAKES these!  

I was seriously so happy. Baby presents are better than Christmas presents.

 I am so thankful for this girl right here. She threw me the most amazing shower! She has been my best friend for 18 years and that's just insane. I am glad we have a friendship that has had ups and downs, but grown stronger over the years. Not many people can say they are still best friends with the girl who made up a dance to "I want you back" by NSYNC with them in 3rd grade. Thanks so much for all you do Jay! I love you!

Oh, I also love these girls a lot. More childhood friends. I love still having them in my life!

Nathan came at the end to help clean up and load all the presents into the car. And also eat. I love that he gets just as excited about baby presents as I do! We spent the rest of the afternoon setting up baby stuff and organizing it all!
