+ She's saying more words every day. She has gotten really good at repeating what we say, which is fun. She says a lot of little sentences now.

+ This girl is OBSESSED with cuddling, especially with me. She is SO affectionate. She loves to give kisses. She will give one to us anytime we ask, even if she has to stop playing. If she sees Nathan and I kiss or hug, she has to run over to get one too. She requests a group hug every night after prayer. She often just wants to lay with me on the couch or on the floor. I love every single second of her snuggles.
+ She seems to be a lot more wary of strangers and new situations. We recently went to her favorite play place where she usually takes off running, but she was nervous. I had to guide her out to the toys and it still took her a while. She kept checking to see if I was watching her, and then she would run back to me for a hug. It was cute.
+ She loves TV. I try my best to limit it. She definitely doesn't get to watch it every day. But me simply saying, "do you want to watch a show?" gets the BEST reaction. She freaks out and runs to the couch. And then she's transfixed. She also says "watch a show!" and the way she says show is so cute it makes it impossible to say no to her. She's still weirdly obsessed with Barney, but I hate Barney so we have been exploring others. I really love Super Why! It's not annoying, and it actually teaches her a lot.

kissing the weird cat toy she found
+ We left her overnight for the first time this month (THANKS KATIE!!!) to celebrate our anniversary and she did SO WELL!!! She never cried, and had so much fun with Katie.
+ She loves to point to herself and say her own name. She says "Sasie" and I love it so much. Then she will point at us and say mama and dada.
+ She is the selfie queen and will make the same cheeser face anytime she sees herself on the phone. She will also smile and say cheese when we ask her to. She's a friggin ham.
+ She loves to dance and sing, and she always wants us to do it with her. If we don't, she stands and points at us until we join in.
+ She actually points at us all the time when she wants us to do something, haha. Mostly when it's something silly. If Nathan does something weird, she points at me until I copy him, haha. It's also how she asks us to play. She will get a ball or a coloring book or some blocks then point at me and say, "pease" and that's how I know she wants me to join in. She's so polite with her little "pease."
+ She calls all letters "A B" and will point at the words in books or on TV and say "A B" over and over again.
+ She is obsessed with keys and takes her toy keys or my keys around and tries to lock all the doors. She still can't open doors, but she can lock them which is annoying.
+ She will stand up on something and yell, "ta-da!!"

She loves to squirt herself in the face with a spray bottle
+ Her favorite thing to do is color. She would color all day. She especially loves if we color with her. She has recently getting mad when she has to color alone. She has started to realize that she can color places other than her coloring books though, so that's been fun. I find crayon marks on lots of things these days.
+ She loves to jump. She's getting pretty good at it, but it makes our walks go really slow when she wants to stop and jump every few steps. She then points at me and wants me to jump. That's not a pretty sight these days.
+ As it warms up, I've been warning her that the slides and swings or the car is hot. Now she's obsessed with everything being hot and is very cautious about touching things outside. She still play with with the stove, of course.
+ She loves having her toes painted, and loves to pretend to put makeup on when I am putting my makeup on.

folding her arms for a prayer during conference
+ The cat obsession is still crazy. She used to have a really cute, high-pitched meow, but now she just yells "MOWWWW!!!" at her all day. She calls her a "mow" and not a kitty. She is always smashing her with her head and is not doing well with the idea of soft still.
+ She is also baby obsessed and it's so cute! She has a couple baby dolls that she loves to take care of. She pushes them around in the stroller, feeds them bottles and food, wraps them up in blankets, puts them to sleep, shushes us when they are sleeping, kisses them, and cuddles them. I hope it means she will be excited when a small baby comes to live with us full time, haha. She also loves seeing "babies" out in public. Babies are pretty much any kid, but she does especially love small babies. She gets upset when they cry too. That should be interesting.
+ Her tantrums and attitude have really stepped it up a notch lately. Just in time for the baby to get here!! She is so dramatic. She can pout like nobody's business. She throws herself to the ground or runs away and hides to cry. She also is just a little punk sometimes. I'll tell her no so she'll just do what she was going to do faster. And then laugh and run away. Or I'll tell her no and she'll just laugh and repeat "no, no, no" back at me. We've been doing some simple timeouts and she usually doesn't like them, but they don't seem to affect her all that much.
+ The past couple months she's been waking up earlier. She's usually away around 7:15-7:30 these days. I really miss the days she'd sleep in until 10, haha. But I hide a book or a toy in her crib before I go to bed, and she finds it when she wakes up. She will happily chill and play in her crib for sometimes another hour! I just drift in and out of sleep until she starts to whine. It's nice. I love how content she is.
+ She started nursery at the beginning of the month and she LOVES it! She walked right in and didn't look back. She hasn't cried once any week we drop her off. She goes right in for the toys and has made a couple little friends. Last week we peeked in on her after Sunday School and she and 2 other kids were the only ones sitting on their chairs, folding their arms, while the other kids ran around and the leaders tried to get them to sit still for prayer. My heart burst. She's so friggin' sweet.
+ She's still really brave around animals. We got to the farm a lot, because it's like Disneyland to her, and she straight up sticks her hands in horses mouthes, hahaha. She's nuts.

Her first black eye, poor baby
+ She loves to hold hands when we walk. Especially if we both hold her hand and swing her. She really just loves to be around both of us at the same time. Nothing makes her happier than having us both home, on the floor playing with her. She is clearly the center of our world, and it's so wonderful to be the center of hers. She just adores us. And we frigggggin adore her right back.

Annie came to sit on my lap while I was reading this, and at first, she thought all the pictures were her! haha! :) And then when I told her they were Sadie, she kept saying, "Sadie pretty!!!" So cute!
