A very musical weekend

We took our little apple sized baby to a rock concert and a musical this weekend.
Baby is already so cultured!

Friday night we went to the Killer's concert! We have been looking forward to this forever! It's our favorite band. They played tons of new stuff from their awesome new album and played tons of old songs too which was really fun.
You know what else is fun?
Getting a bloody nose in the middle of the concert and having no napkins and having to use your sweatshirt to clean up the mess.
Good thing I love Brandon Fowers so much.
Also, we got Dip N Dots.
Don't you wanna slap his face?
He was pointing right at me. Asking me a question. He likes my advice.

Saturday we went out to Provo to go see The Forgotten Carols with Jess and Marshall. (First you should know, we ate McDonald's and Marshall ate FIVE double cheeseburgers. FIVE). I didn't really know much about Michael McClean except some negative things I had heard but tons of other people raved about how The Forgotten Carols was amazing and it wasn't Christmas until you saw it. Now I have seen it so I can give my opinion. Michael McClean is a talented composer. I strongly dislike his talk/singing and was very glad he sang so little in the show. I really loved some of the songs and enjoyed the message of the show. Don't think it will become a Christmas tradition though. There was some self-promoting going on after it ended so we decided to just leave. That was super awkward. There's my two cents! And here is a terrible quality picture!
These are better.

I hope your weekend was musically delicious.

  1. THE KILLERS. I was there too. And it was the best. I cried a lot like a silly fangirl.

  2. You should get the original CD of the Forgotten Carols. I've had it for years. No Michael on it, so its awesome. I will make you a copy if you want.

  3. Benny can eat 2 and we have to stop him off at that! So him and Marshall are going to be great friends!
